This extensive document written Myerscough College's lecturer Dr Andy Hirons and Gothenburg Botanic Garden scientific curator Dr Henrik Sjöman, the digital guide is intended to help select more appropriate trees for a wide range of urban planting sites.

It brings together the latest evidence on how best to approach tree species selection to maximise the benefits for nearby communities, while creating a more sustainable urban forest for future generations.

With specific information on over 280 trees, the Tree Profiles section is illustrated with over 800 photographs. A Tree Selector tool also helps identify candidate trees by a range of criteria.
