Wharton are getting ready to better meet your tree, ecology and land requirements by opening a new office in South Manchester in celebration of its 10th Anniversary this month.

Adelphi Mill, Bollington

Starting out 10 years ago as a family-run tree consultancy, Wharton Natural Infrastructure Consultants Ltd (WNIC), now offering tree, ecology and land surveying services, are getting ready to embrace the South Manchester area in recognition of steady growth during the past decade.

The new office at Adelphi Mill, Bollington opened as of 3rd of September 2018 and is managed by our Arboricultural Consultant, Sam Hobson, originally from the Macclesfield area.

“We’re excited to be expanding the business after having established a firm foundation in the West Midlands over the past 10 years”, acknowledges WNIC’s Director, Peter Wharton.  “However, it’s important to note that it couldn’t have been possible without having such a great team of experienced consultants behind the company, all who deliver work in a professional, honest and collaborative way.  With such strong values, we have been able to expand and develop the business: testament to this is our new office in South Manchester!”

Wharton help a wide range of clients in planning, developing and land management including architects, planners, developers, local authority and landowners.

The Wharton ethos is that by viewing trees, green spaces and ecology as assets in the planning process, development is enhanced, and valuable natural spaces can be either created or protected. This equally has a significant, positive impact to our environment: from increased property value and saleability to improved health and wellbeing.

This unique approach ensures we provide a balance between commercial, environmental and community requirements to a site. Our commitment to providing honest advice that considers the wider context in a scheme, enables us to secure a successful planning application for trees and ecology, first time, every time.  We’re looking forward to bringing this unique approach to the South Manchester area from September onwards.
