As we enter a new normal and we get back to some sort of how things used to be, it is fantastic to see our team pulling together, to deliver projects to our clients efficiently and no one exemplifies this more than Matt.
There is no doubt amongst peers and colleagues that Matt is an exceptional technical ecologist, particularly specialising in Biodiversity Net Gain on strategic projects. Matt has driven the direction of the ecology team over the past few years, both in mentoring others and understanding the skills the team needs. His technical ability has also been recognised by our clients who he works with, particularly his pragmatism & understanding of they want to achieve and the ability he has to get the right balance.
Since joining Wharton, Matt quickly found his feet, further developing his exceptional technical ability, providing our client base with expertise, and solutions to achieve planning permission on a variety of complex projects. He has also worked hard to assist with the development of internal systems and processes. Most recently Matt has been developing our Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) side of the ecology offering, presenting to clients and delivering the onsite requirements.
As a result of this hard work, on 1st October 2021, the company had the pleasure of promoting Matt to Principal Ecologist. Please join us in congratulating Matt on his promotion.
