Wharton congratulate Lorna Rowe on the approval of her Great Crested Newt Survey License!
Lorna recently joined the company and is already proving herself as a great addition to the ecology team. With the approval of her Great Crested Newt (GCN) Survey Class License Level 1, she will now be able to offer even more assistance to the team.
The license granted by Natural England permits the completion of GCN surveys using hands, nets, torches and aquatic funnel traps (including bottle traps). These methods allow her to survey aquatic habitats for the presence of GCN. This will be of great use during GCN survey season (mid-March to June) next year.
Well done Lorna!
