Free CPD for Built Environment Professionals

Free CPD for Built Environment Professionals

Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is a vital component of many people association to professional bodies. At Wharton we recognise the need for better access to specific CPD events and content in a variety of formats. We have successfully adapted how this is delivered through regular webinars, short videos or pre-recorded presentations either to individual companies or to a much wider audience.

We are now delivering FREE in-house CPD training either at your offices or ours and we’ll bring the lunch. Download our CPD brochure here. We can also do this via Zoom or other virtual media if your team is still working from home.

The aim is to provide everyone with relevant content, which increases your knowledge of the interaction between the built and natural environments.

As a company, our vision is to create a future where we live in balance with, and connected to nature, by increasing our understanding of natural infrastructure and guiding its enhancement in the places we live, play and work.

This year will see major changes within the environmental planning world with movement in domestic policy and legislation across the UK countries and Ireland; implications of the UK leaving the EU; a new global biodiversity framework; and governments reviewing international climate action. The environment and the impact of human activity has never been higher on the public and political agendas. How we plan, manage and develop land both in urban and rural areas will be hugely impacted and it is vital to strike the right balance.

We have all seen the importance that well designed, planned and managed green space and infrastructure provides to our quality of life through 2020 and the opportunity is now to influence this for the next generation.
