Congratulations are in order to Wharton’s Arboricultural Consultant James Butler-White as he has successfully completed his Foundation degree in Arboriculture, after three years of studying on-line. The course comprised of various modules in tree biology, woodland management, pest and diseases, tree risk management, soil science and dendrology
James joined Wharton in November 2019, previously being a tree officer within the public sector and a consultant in the private sector. This background has given James a great overview when it comes to trees within planning, as he has experience from both sides of the fence!
What’s next for James? Well after graduating with a Distinction, James is ready to learn more and has enrolled onto the final year of the online BSc Hons in Arboriculture and Urban Forestry.
